भागलपुर 12 सितंबर 2024, डीडीसी श्री प्रदीप सिंह और निदेशक डीआरडीए भागलपुर ने नाथनगर प्रखंड में नागरिकों को सरकारी योजनाओं का लाभ सुचारु रूप से उपलब्ध कराने और सेवाओं की गुणवत्ता में सुधार के उद्देश्य से नाथनगर प्रखंड कार्यालय और बुनियादी सेवा केंद्र का दौरा किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने केंद्र में दी जा रही सेवाओं का निरीक्षण किया और जनसुविधाओं के विस्तार पर चर्चा की। अधिकारियों ने बुनियादी सेवा केंद्र के कार्यों की समीक्षा की और इसमें सुधार के लिए महत्वपूर्ण निर्देश दिए।

   उन्होंने बुनियादी सेवा केंद्र योजना के बारे में जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि बिहार सरकार द्वारा संचालित बुनियादी सेवा केंद्र योजना का उद्देश्य ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में नागरिकों को विभिन्न सरकारी सेवाएं एक ही स्थान पर उपलब्ध कराना है। इस योजना के अंतर्गत, केंद्रों के माध्यम से जाति, आय, और आवास प्रमाणपत्र, सामाजिक सुरक्षा योजनाओं के लाभ, कृषि से संबंधित जानकारी, रोजगार सेवाएं, और अन्य कई सरकारी सेवाएं प्रदान की जाती हैं।

     इस योजना का मुख्य उद्देश्य ग्रामीण नागरिकों को सरकारी सेवाओं तक आसानी से पहुंच उपलब्ध कराना और ग्रामीण विकास को प्रोत्साहित करना है। इसके तहत डिजिटल सेवा प्लेटफार्म का उपयोग करते हुए ग्रामीण जनता को उनकी आवश्यकताओं के अनुसार त्वरित और पारदर्शी सेवाएं प्रदान की जाती हैं।

   डीडीसी श्री सिंह ने दौरे के दौरान केंद्र में आने वाले नागरिकों को सभी उपलब्ध सेवाओं को समय से करने का निदेश दिए। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया कि वे सेवाओं को और भी सुगम और प्रभावी बनाने के लिए आवश्यक कदम उठाएं। 

    इस मौके पर निदेशक डीआरडीए भागलपुर ने भी केंद्र की कार्यप्रणाली की सराहना की और कहा कि इस तरह के केंद्र ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में शासन की पहुंच को और सुदृढ़ बनाने में सहायक सिद्ध होंगे।

In a significant step towards enhancing safety and efficiency in train operations, the Malda Division of Eastern Railway has introduced an innovative helmet camera monitoring system for rolling in-and-out examination activities. This advanced system is set to revolutionize train examination processes by providing real-time monitoring and ensuring prompt identification of defects during train operations.

The newly implemented helmet camera will be utilized for under-gear examinations, including inspecting wheels, bearings, and hanging parts of the train as it moves at a crawling speed through stations. The objective is to identify and address any defective components while the train is in motion, ensuring uninterrupted and safe operations.

Malda Division is the first within Eastern Railway to install this state-of-the-art helmet camera monitoring system. The helmet camera monitoring system will be provided to rolling in-and-out examination staff. Currently, a total of 08 helmet cameras have been provided, at each station in Malda and Jamalpur. Plans are underway to extend this system to other stations, including Bhagalpur, Sahibganj, and other stations within the Malda Division.

Key Features of the Helmet Camera Monitoring System:

• In-Built Recording: Allows for continuous recording of train examination activities.

• Livestreaming Capability: Provides live streaming to the backend system, enabling remote monitoring of employees and assets.

• Flexible Connectivity: The video feed can be transmitted live to the backend system or a video wall via Wi-Fi or GPRS (SIM card).

• Push-to-Talk Facility: Facilitates seamless communication between on-field personnel and the control room.

• Extended Battery Life: Offers approximately 8 hours of battery backup with an IP66 rating for durability.

• Archival Capability: Recorded videos can be saved for future review, allowing for thorough analysis and improved decision-making.

The introduction of this helmet camera monitoring system marks a significant milestone for the Malda Division, aligning with its commitment to adopting modern technology for safer and more efficient railway operations.

परिणाम इस प्रकार है, अंडर- 14 बालक के 100 मीटर दौड़ में राजा कुमार प्रथम, पंकज कुमार द्वितीय एवं अमित कुमार तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया। अंडर 14 बालिका 100 मीटर दौड़ में सुप्रिया कुमारी प्रथम सोनम कुमारी द्वितीय वर्ष कुमारी तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया। 200 मीटर अंदर 14 बालिका वर्ग के दौड़ में सुप्रिया कुमारी प्रथम, सोनम कुमारी द्वितीय एवं कशिश कुमारी तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया। 400 मीटर अंदर 14 बालिका दौड़ में साक्षी कुमारी प्रथम, साक्षी कुमारी भी द्वितीय स्थान प्राप्त किया वही रूही कुमारी तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया। 600 मी बालिका अंडर 14 वर्ग में साक्षी कुमारी प्रथम, साक्षी कुमारी पिता संतोष कुमार स्थान प्राप्त किया। अंडर 17 बालिका 200 मी क दौड़ में सदा फातिमा प्रथम, उमा भारती द्वितीय एवम् प्रियंका कुमारी तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया। 400 मीटर अंदर 17 वाले का दौड़ में सुलोचना कुमारी प्रथम, मौसम कुमारी द्वितीय एवं वंदना कुमारी तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया। अंडर 17 वाले का हाई जंप वर्ग में कंचन कुमारी प्रथम, फिजा कुमारी द्वितीय एवं तृतीय और या तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया। अंडर 17 बालिका का लॉन्ग जंप प्रतियोगिता में अदीब कुमारी प्रथम, स्वीटी कुमारी द्वितीय एवम् उमा भारती तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया। अंडर 17 बॉयज 100 एम दौड़ में चेतन आनंद प्रथम, विकास कुमार द्वितीय एवम् निर्माण कुमार तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया। 200 मी अंडर 17 बालक दौड़ में चेतन आनंद प्रथम, निर्मल कुमार द्वितीय एवम् पुरुष पुष्पम कुमार तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया। अंडर 17 बालक  में 400 मीटर दौड़ में विशाल कुमार प्रथम, विपिन कुमार द्वितीय एवम् नीतीश कुमार तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया। अंडर-19 संगठन बालक दौड़ में निर्मल कुमार प्रथम, नीतीश कुमार द्वितीय एवम् अमित कुमार द्वितीय संपर्क किया। अंडर 17 , 1500 मीटर वाले दौड़ में निर्मल कुमार द्वितीय स्थान प्राप्त किया। 1500 मीटर अंडर-19 बालिका वर्ग में सोनाली कुमारी प्रथम, रेशमा कुमारी स्थान प्राप्त किया। 100 मीटर अंडर-19 बालक वर्ग में कुमार मंगलम प्रथम, सिद्धार्थ सिंह द्वितीय एवम अंडर-19 बालक वर्ग के चयन ट्रायल दिनांक 5 सितंबर को, अंडर 17 बालक वर्ग का चयन ट्रायल 06 सितंबर को एवम अंडर 14 बालक वर्ग का चयन ट्रायल 07 सितंबर को होगा। प्रतियोगिता में प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त करने वाले खिलाड़ी राज्यस्तरीय प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेंगे। प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेने वाले सभी विद्यालय कल पूर्वाहन 9,30 am मैं मैदान में रिपोर्ट करेंगे। प्रतियोगिता के सफल संचालन में ऑफिशियल के रूप में मोहम्मद नसर पटना, 03 सितम्बर 2024 :- मुख्यमंत्री श्री नीतीश कुमार ने महान स्वतंत्रता सेनानी बाबा-ए-कौम अब्दुल कय्यूम अंसारी साहब के पुत्र डॉ० खालिद अनवर अंसारी के निधन पर गहरी शोक संवेदना व्यक्त की है। 

मुख्यमंत्री ने अपने शोक संदेश में कहा है कि डॉ० खालिद अनवर अंसारी सामाजिक कार्यों में गहरी अभिरुचि रखते थे। स्व० डॉ० खालिद अनवर अंसारी परिवहन विभाग के मंत्री रह चुके थे। वे डेहरी ऑन सोन से दो बार विधायक तथा एक बार विधान पार्षद भी रह चुके थे। उनके निधन से सामाजिक और राजनीतिक क्षेत्र में अपूरणीय क्षति हुई है।

स्व० डॉ० खालिद अनवर अंसारी का अंतिम संस्कार राजकीय सम्मान के साथ होगा। मुख्यमंत्री ने ईश्वर से प्रार्थना की है कि वे उन्हें जन्नत में अहम मकाम अता करे और उनके परिवार वालों को इस अपूरणीय क्षति को सहन करने की ताकत दें।

In a heartfelt initiative to support the fight against Tuberculosis (TB), the Eastern Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation (ERWWO), Malda Division, today distributed food packets to TB patients at the Divisional Railway Hospital, Malda. This initiative is part of the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan campaign, which aims to provide nutritional support to those suffering from the disease.

Smt. Manisha Gupta, President of ERWWO, along with other esteemed members of the organization, and Smt. Anupa Ghosh, Chief Medical Superintendent, led the initiative. They distributed the food packets to the patients, underscoring the ERWWO’s commitment to community welfare.

Speaking on the occasion, Smt. Manisha Gupta stated, "This initiative aims to provide ongoing support to TB patients, with monthly distributions planned for the next six months. Our efforts are aligned with the goal of a TB-free India, and we are dedicated to improving the care and quality of life for those affected by TB."

The initiative is a part of ERWWO's mission to enhance community well-being through various welfare programs. By providing nutritional support, ERWWO aims to strengthen the health of TB patients, thereby contributing to their recovery and the national campaign for a TB-free India.

Eastern Railway holds a high level Divisional Committee Meeting with Hon’ble Members of Parliament over Howrah & Sealdah Division network in presence of General Manager, Eastern Railway Shri Milind K Deouskar. Principal Heads of Departments and Divisional Railway Managers of Howrah & Sealdah Divisions of Eastern Railway were also present in the meeting. In the Divisional Committee Meeting of Howrah & Sealdah Divisions organized at Kolkata today (3.9.2024) discussions were held on various key issues and development initiatives within Howrah & Sealdah division network. 

In the meeting, Shri Jagannath Sarkar, Hon’ble MP (Lok Sabha), Shri Nagendra Ray, Hon’ble MP (Rajya Sabha), Shri Samik Bhattacharya, Hon’ble MP (Rajya Sabha), Mohd. Nadimul Haque, Hon’ble MP (Rajya Sabha), Smt. Mitali Bag, Hon’ble MP (Lok Sabha), Shri Nalin Soren, Hon’ble MP (Lok Sabha), Shri Asit Kumar Mal, Hon’ble MP (Lok Sabha), Smt. Prof. Shri Sougata Roy, Hon’ble MP was elected as Chairmen of the meeting to discuss on various issues to bring allround development, passenger amenities & facilities as well as rail infrastructure over Eastern Railway. Prof. Sougata Roy, Hon’ble MP in his speech, terming the Howrah – New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express service as excellent has welcomed the very expecting Sleeper version of Vande Bharat train. 

All the Hon’ble MPs mainly proposed for development of more passenger amenities at the station within their constituency. Hon’ble MPs like Dr. Sharmila Sarkar has requested for passenger amenities at Katwa station. Shri Jagannath Sarkar, Hon’ble MP demanded train service from Ranaghat to Puri and Metro service up to Kalyani & Ranaghat. Hon’ble MP Shri Jagannath Sarkar also requested for Kalyani to Gede local train service and Krishnanagar – Karimpur new line.

Hon’ble MP and renowned cricketer Shri Yusuf Pathan said that he will take Eastern Railway team to Beldanga. He also said that he will take initiative to stop all types of encroachment problem in his jurisdiction. Shri Yusuf Pathan, Hon’ble MP will extend all sorts of cooperation for development activities of Railways. 

All the Hon’ble MPs, especially, Smt. Satabdi Roy, Hon’ble MP have expressed their happiness regarding development of stations under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. Smt. Rachana Banerjee, Hon’ble MP also expressed her happiness regarding development initiatives of Eastern Railway. Smt. Mitali Bag, Hon’ble MP said that she will extend all possible help for solving land related bottlenecks at Bhabadighi area for completion of Tarakeswar – Bishnupur rail link project.

Shri Abu Taher Khan, Hon’ble MP proposed for development of more amenities & facilities at Bhagawangola, Murshidabad, Bhabta & many other stations. Shri Khalilur Rahaman, Hon’ble MP demanded stoppage of various trains like Jogbani Express at Dhulianganga, Teesta Torsa Express at Sagardighi, stoppage of Teesta Torsa Express at Manigram. He also proposed for more trains between Lalgola & Ranaghat. Shri Nalin Soren, Hon’ble MP demanded stoppage of Patna – Howrah Janshatabdi Express at Karmatar. Shri Bapi Halder, Hon’ble MP proposed for rail links between Joynagar Majilpur & Raidighi. Mohd. Nadimul Haque, Hon’ble MP requested for further improvement of quality of food served in Rajdhani Express. 

Hon’ble MPs like Smt. Rachana Banerjee and Dr. Sharmila Sarkar also proposed for construction of Road Over Bridge at various areas like Chuchura, Katwa, Memari, Masagram, Jaugram etc. Shri Nagendra Ray (Ananta Maharaj), Hon’ble MP proposed for New Bongaigaon – Kolkata Vande Bharat Express train. 

Shri Samik Bhattacharya, Hon’ble MP while addressing the meeting, revealed the requirement for the Vande Bharat Metro train in Sealdah – Bangaon and Sealdah – Ranaghat sections and also requested for AC coaches in Sealdah – Bangaon local trains. Shri Asit Mal, Hon’ble MP demanded stoppage of Howrah – New Jalpaiguri Shatabdi Express and Howrah – New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express at Rampurhat station and Road Over Bridge at Ghuskara.

In the meeting, presentations were made regarding Parliamentary Constituency progress of various development initiatives and development of passenger amenities & facilities at different stations over Howrah & Sealdah Divisions.

Shri Milind K Deouskar, General Manager, Eastern Railway while addressing the meeting, informed that progress of works regarding augmentation of passenger amenities are in full swing with regular funding. The augmentation of coaches in various long-distance trains will soon be completed keeping in view the platform capacity. For increasing sectional speed, limited height subways (LHS) have been constructed at different places as a substitution of level crossings. Road Over Bridges (ROBs) will also be made by Railways as per requirement, if requisite land is available. General Manager also revealed the land related bottlenecks towards completion of Tarakeswar – Bishnupur project and sought for support local inhabitants of Bhabadighi area to solve this problem towards completion of the project.

General Manager, Eastern Railway assured the Hon’ble Members of Parliament to consider their demands for feasibility analysis of various demands for additional facilities & amenities and development issues raised in the meeting and implement those on approval by competent authority/Railway Board.

This Divisional Committee Meeting serves as a platform for direct interaction between the Eastern Railway authorities and the Hon’ble MPs, ensuring that the voices and concerns of the people are heard and addressed. In celebration of National Nutrition Week, observed annually in India from September 1 to 7, the Divisional Railway Hospital (DRH), Malda, organized an educational and engaging nutrition camp today at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Malda. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of nutrition for health and well-being, while also promoting healthy eating habits among students.

The camp witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 65 students who actively engaged in discussions about the significance of balanced nutrition in preventing diseases and promoting overall wellness. The event began with a seminar on healthy eating habits, where students eagerly participated, raising queries and sharing their thoughts on nutrition.

Following the seminar, the students showcased their creativity through a small drama that beautifully depicted the complexities of nutrition in an engaging and understandable manner. The drama was met with applause and appreciation, highlighting the children's efforts in presenting the importance of a balanced diet.

A nutrition-focused food competition was also held, where 12 students brought home-cooked meals and explained why their dishes were healthy. The competition was judged based on the nutritional value and presentation of the food, and winners were selected after careful consideration. The students' enthusiasm and active participation made the program a grand success.

DRH/Malda believes that such initiatives are instrumental in fostering healthier eating habits and enhancing nutritional awareness among young minds, paving the way for a healthier future generation.

हुए कहा कि वंदे चेयर कार, वंदे स्लीपर, वंदे मेट्रो और अमृत भारत जैसी चार ट्रेनों को आधुनिक तकनीक से लैस किया गया है। पैसेंजर की सेफ्टी के साथ साथ लोको पायलट और अटेंडेटस की सुविधाओं का भी ध्यान रखा गया है। इन सभी ट्रेनों को नए तरीके से डिजाइन किया गया है। लोको कैब को बेहतर बनाया गया है। सुरक्षा के मद्देनजर इन ट्रेनों में कवच प्रीफिटेड है। इन ट्रेनों के ट्रायल में डेढ़ से दो महीने का समय लगेगा। तीन महीने बाद यह ट्रेन यूज में आएगी। 

केंद्रीय मंत्री ने कहा कि वंदे भारत ट्रेन मिडिल क्लास की सवारी है। इसलिए उसका किराया भी राजधानी के साथ बेंचमार्क किया जाएगा। अगर आप वर्ल्ड की बेस्ट ट्रेन के साथ वंदे भारत की तुलना करेंगे तो वंदे भारत स्लीपर उस बेंच मार्क के तहत आएगी।

Today, Shri Manish Kumar Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Malda Division, Eastern Railway, accompanied by other branch officers conducted an extensive inspection of the Bhagalpur-Banka-Godda section to evaluate safety standards and assess the current status of passenger amenities. The inspection aimed to devise a strategic plan for further development of facilities and safety enhancements across the section as well as to monitor the ongoing redevelopment works under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.

The inspection began early in the morning with a window trailing inspection between Bhagalpur and Banka. Upon arrival at Banka, DRM/Malda along with Branch officers carried out a detailed review of the station building, passenger amenities, coaching facilities, and safety aspects. He closely examined the ongoing work progress for the new Amrit Bharat Station building, assessing the advancement of various development projects at the station.

 DRM/Malda continued his inspection at Godda station, where he scrutinized the redevelopment initiatives, circulating areas, and various factors related to passenger safety, security, and comfort. During his inspection, he interacted with officials from various departments, underscoring the significance of expediting projects under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme and providing necessary instructions to ensure timely completion.

Following the inspection at Godda station, DRM/Malda conducted a window trailing inspection of the Godda-Bhagalpur section, closely monitoring the operational aspects of the railway line to ensure the highest safety standards are maintained. At Poreyahat station, he inspected the panel room and other safety-related facilities to assess their functionality and effectiveness.

Throughout the inspection, DRM/Malda emphasized the importance of maintaining high safety standards and improving passenger amenities across the Malda Division.

In a move aimed at enhancing safety, mobility and passenger comfort, Eastern Railway has decided to upgrade 03767/03768 Sahibganj – Malda Town – Sahibganj passenger special train by replacing conventional ICF rakes with modern MEMU (Mainline Electric Multiple Unit) rakes. This transition is set to bring significant benefits to the traveling public and optimize the overall travel experience. 

Railway has decided to convert 03767/03768 Sahibganj – Malda Town – Sahibganj passenger special to MEMU rake with *new train no. 63041/63042*Sahibganj – Malda Town – Sahibganj MEMU passenger* with effect from today (27.08.2024).The MEMU rake consists of 08 Coaches including Two driving motor coaches (DMC) at both ends of the train and six trailer coaches (TC).

Key Benefits of MEMU Rakes:

• Higher Acceleration and Braking: MEMU trains offer improved acceleration and braking systems, reducing travel time between stations and increasing operational efficiency.

• Enhanced Reliability: In the event of a motor coach failure, the train can continue running without disruption, offering greater reliability.

• Quicker Reversals: With driving cabs located at both ends of the train, MEMU trains can reverse direction more quickly, improving turnaround times.

• Increased Passenger Capacity: MEMU coaches can accommodate more passengers, making travel more comfortable, especially during peak hours.

• Improved Illumination: With ample power supply from Overhead Electric (OHE) lines, MEMU coaches are equipped with better lighting for enhanced comfort and safety.

The decision to convert this train into a MEMU is part of the Eastern Railway’s ongoing efforts to modernize the railway infrastructure, improve operational efficiency, and provide better services to passengers across the region.

Fortress Ticket Checking Drive Conducted at Mandarhill-Bhagalpur-Sahibganj Section

Under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Malda Division, Sri Manish Kumar Gupta, a series of rigorous ticket checking drives are being conducted across the division. 

In line with this, a fortress ticket-checking drive was successfully carried out today at the Mandarhill-Bhagalpur-Sahibganj Railway section under the direction of the Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (Sr. DCM)/MLDT, Sri Sudeb Bhattacharya. 

 

The drive was led by Assistant Commercial Managers (ACM-I & ACM-II) with active participation of Commercial Inspectors, Ticket Checking Staff (TTEs), and Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel. As part of the drive, public announcements were made at intermediate stations to inform passengers about the ongoing ticket-checking operations.

The drive resulted in a significant number of passengers being checked for valid tickets, with increased vigilance and enforcement across the Mandarhill-Bhagalpur-Sahibganj section. The initiative also led to a noticeable surge in ticket sales, both at booking counters and through the UTS mobile app.   

Passengers were also reminded of the importance of purchasing valid tickets for their journeys, with a clear message that strict action will be taken against defaulters.

Such fortress ticket-checking drives will continue in the future to ensure fair and safe travel for all passengers.
