Eastern Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation (ERWWO), Malda Extends Nutritional Support to Tuberculosis (TB) Patients

In a heartfelt initiative to support the fight against Tuberculosis (TB), the Eastern Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation (ERWWO), Malda Division, today distributed food packets to TB patients at the Divisional Railway Hospital, Malda. This initiative is part of the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan campaign, which aims to provide nutritional support to those suffering from the disease.
Smt. Manisha Gupta, President of ERWWO, along with other esteemed members of the organization, and Smt. Anupa Ghosh, Chief Medical Superintendent, led the initiative. They distributed the food packets to the patients, underscoring the ERWWO’s commitment to community welfare.
Speaking on the occasion, Smt. Manisha Gupta stated, "This initiative aims to provide ongoing support to TB patients, with monthly distributions planned for the next six months. Our efforts are aligned with the goal of a TB-free India, and we are dedicated to improving the care and quality of life for those affected by TB."
The initiative is a part of ERWWO's mission to enhance community well-being through various welfare programs. By providing nutritional support, ERWWO aims to strengthen the health of TB patients, thereby contributing to their recovery and the national campaign for a TB-free India.
