FLAGGING-OFF CEREMONY FOR THE ADDITIONAL STOPPAGE OF SAHIBGANJ–DANAPUR–SAHIBGANJ EXPRESS AT SHIVNARAYANPUR STATION

Fulfilling a long-cherished demand of the people of Shivnarayanpur, Bihar, a formal flagging-off ceremony was organised for the *additional stoppage of the 13235/13236 Sahibganj–Danapur–Sahibganj Express today (21.01.2026) at Shivnarayanpur Railway Station.*

The ceremony was graced by *Shri Ajay Kumar Mandal, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Bhagalpur (Bihar)* who flagged off the train. Shri Sheo Kumar Prasad, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Malda, along with other railway officials and dignitaries, was also present on the occasion.

A colourful cultural programme was organised to mark the event, in which school students and a large number of local residents of Shivnarayanpur participated, adding vibrancy to the celebration.

Railway has decided to provide an additional stoppage of the 13235/13236 Sahibganj–Danapur–Sahibganj Express at Shivnarayanpur Station under Malda Division on an experimental basis.

• Journey commencing from 21.01.2026

• Arrival: 15:46 hrs

• Departure: 15:47 hrs

*◆ 13236 Danapur–Sahibganj Express*

• Journey commencing from 22.01.2026

• Arrival: 12:33 hrs

• Departure: 12:34 hrs

Both trains will have a one-minute stoppage at Shivnarayanpur Station.

This initiative aims to enhance connectivity and provide greater convenience to the people of Shivnarayanpur and the surrounding region.
