Malda Division Conducts Digital Ticketing Awareness Drive at Dhulian Ganga Railway Station

In line with the Digital India Mission, Malda Division is actively promoting digital ticketing across its jurisdiction. *Under the guidance of Shri Manish Kumar Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Malda,* a series of awareness campaigns on digital ticketing have been initiated at various stations. As part of this ongoing initiative, a special awareness programme on the UTS on Mobile App was organised today at *Dhulian Ganga Railway Station* , under the supervision of *Shri Kartik Singh, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Malda*
During the campaign, Commercial Inspectors and Ticket Checking staff engaged with passengers, demonstrating the step-by-step process of downloading, registering, and booking tickets through the UTS on Mobile App. Passengers were also assisted in installing the app directly on their smartphones. The initiative encouraged commuters to adopt seamless, paperless, and convenient mobile ticketing for their daily travel needs.
Key features of the UTS App highlighted during the campaign included:
• 3% bonus on R-Wallet recharge
• Elimination of queues at ticket counters
• Paperless and cashless ticketing
• Facility to book journey, platform, and season tickets
• Instant availability of digital tickets on mobile devices
This initiative reinforces Malda Division’s commitment to enhancing passenger convenience by promoting digital solutions and modern ticketing systems in alignment with the objectives of the Digital India Mission.
