MALDA DIVISION REPLACES 15 CENTURY-OLD STONE SLAB BRIDGES IN BHAGALPUR-MANDARHILL SECTION

In a significant stride towards enhancing railway infrastructure, Malda Division successfully replaced two (02) more century-old stone slab bridges on the Bhagalpur-Mandarhill section today. The completion of Bridges No. 54 and 19 marks the 15th successful bridge installation in this section, underscoring the Division's unwavering dedication to improving infrastructure and ensuring the safety and reliability of train operations.
The launching of the RCC box bridges No. 54 and 19 was executed with meticulous planning, involving strategically scheduled traffic and power blocks. Large cranes and machinery were used to expedite the work flawlessly despite its complexity.
The successful completion of the work within the scheduled duration was attributed to better planning and perfect coordination among various departments of the Malda Division at the work site.
The replacement of 15 century-old bridges in the Bhagalpur-Mandarhill section in the Malda Division has significantly strengthened the reliability and safety of the infrastructure. Bridge maintenance is crucial for maintaining the integrity and reliability of rail networks, ensuring uninterrupted train services and minimizing the risk of disruptions and delays, thereby contributing to more reliable and punctual train operations.
