As the temperature rises and the summer season approaches, Malda Division reaffirms its commitment to passenger comfort by ensuring ample drinking water availability at railway stations across its extensive network.
Understanding the vital importance of providing hydration to passengers during train travel, Malda Division has taken proactive steps to install water coolers at major stations. In the financial year 2023-24, significant efforts from Malda Division led to the installation of 8 water coolers at Mandar Hill, Banka, Godda,Munger,Jamalpur,Malda and Bhagalpur stations. Now, Malda Division has a total of 35 water coolers at various stations under its jurisdiction, serving as indispensable sources of relief for passengers weary of the scorching summer heat.
Each water cooler is equipped with state-of-the-art filtration methods, meticulously designed to uphold the highest standards of water quality and safety. Strict adherence to regular maintenance protocols further enhances passenger confidence in the facilities provided.
