SAFETY AWARD CEREMONY AT MALDA DIVISION

Safety awards programme is being organized every fifteen days/fortnight by Malda Division to encourage and appreciate the outstanding performing railway staff related to safety and save lives and prevent major failures.
On 19.03.2024, Shri Vikas Chaube, Divisional Railway Manager/Malda awarded Shri B.N.Muriyari,Gate man from Taljhari, Shri Samar Pramanik and Shri Debabrata Saha Track Maintainer IV from New Farakka and Shri Arif Hasan Track Maintainer IV from Khaltipur for their major contributions on the various aspects of safety.
In addition to that Shri Ramashish Kumar and Shri Ashok Kumar,Track Maintainer III from Jamalpur
Shri Rakesh Kumar Tanti, Track Maintainer III from Bhagalpur were also awarded for their contribution in averting untoward incidents and ensuring safety in Train operations.
The award consists of a Medal, Commendation Certificate and a citation of exemplary safety work.
DRM/MLDT said that the main objective of this award ceremony is to keep the staff motivated as a token of appreciation for the good works done by the employees.
Shri Sheo Kumar Prasad, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Shri B.B.P Kushwaha, Senior Divisional Safety Officer, Shri Neeraj Kumar Verma, Senior Divisional Engineer/Coordination and other Branch Officers of Malda Division were present on the occasion.
