SAFETY AWARD CEREMONY AT MALDA DIVISION

Safety awards programme is being organized every fifteen days/fortnight by Malda Division to encourage and appreciate the outstanding performing railway staff related to safety and save lives and prevent major failures.
On 20.02.2024, Shri Vikas Chaube, Divisional Railway Manager/Malda awarded Md Danish Akhtar and Shri Raushan Kumar,Track Maintainer IV from Bhagalpur
Shri Uday Biswas and Shri Munna Hari, Track Maintainer IV from Malda and Shri Binay Oraon and Shri Biswamitra Sarkar, Track Maintainer IV from Jangipur Road Station for their major contributions on the various aspects of safety and their contribution in averting untoward incidents and ensuring safety in Train operations. The award consists of a Medal, Commendation Certificate and a citation of exemplary safety work.
DRM/MLDT said that the main objective of this award ceremony is to keep the staff motivated as a token of appreciation for the good works done by the employees.
The awardees have done a commendable job and such alertness shown by the railway staff for safer working will motivate others.
Shri Sheo Kumar Prasad, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Shri B.B.P Kushwaha, Senior Divisional Safety Officer, Shri Siddharth Sankar, Divisional Mechanical Engineer (Power), Shri Neeraj Kumar Verma, Senior Divisional Engineer/Coordination and other Branch Officers of Malda Division were present on the occasion.
