EASTERN RAILWAY CELEBRATED 14TH NATIONAL VOTERS’ DAY – 2024

Eastern Railway celebrated the 14th National Voters’ Day – 2024 at its headquarters today (25.1.2024) wherein Shri Milind K Deouskar, General Manager, Eastern Railway administered the pledge on the National Voters’ Day. The theme for this year’s National Voters’ Day is “Nothing like voting, I vote for sure”.
The National Voters’ Day pledge, administered by Shri Milind K Deouskar, General Manager, Eastern Railway, emphasizes the commitment of Indian citizens to uphold democratic traditions, ensuring the dignity of free, fair & peaceful election. The pledge encourages and to vote in every election fearlessly and without being influenced by considerations of religion, race, caste, community, language or any inducement”.
In the pledge taking ceremony, Shri Sumit Sarkar, Additional General Manager and all Principal Heads of Departments and staff were participated.
Apart from Headquarters, the “National Voters’ Day” pledge has also been taken at all the four Divisions & workshops of Eastern Railway.
