RPF, Malda Division Rescues Minor Boy under “Operation Nanhe Farishte” and Recovers Foreign Liquor at Bhagalpur

Under the guidance of *Shri Manish Kumar Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Malda* , and the supervision of *Shri Ashim Kumar Kullu, Divisional Security Commissioner, Malda* , the Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Malda Division achieved two significant actions today.
During routine inspection at Barharwa Railway Station, RPF personnel rescued a minor boy *under “Operation Nanhe Farishte”* after noticing him wandering near the waiting hall. The boy, who had mistakenly travelled beyond his intended destination, was taken into safe custody and handed over to Bal Sanrakshan Manthan, Sahibganj, for proper care.
In a separate incident, the RPF team of RPF/Post/Bhagalpur recovered an unclaimed black-blue bag from Platform No. 6, containing 7 *5 bottles of foreign liquor valued at approximately ₹13,780.* The seized items were handed over to the Excise Department, Bhagalpur, after completing all legal formalities.
These swift and vigilant actions reflect the RPF’s continued commitment to child safety, law enforcement, and maintaining a secure environment across Malda Division.
