VIGILANCE AWARENESS CAMPAIGN LAUNCHED IN MALDA DIVISION

As a prelude to Vigilance Awareness campaign 2025, Eastern Railway’s Malda Division has launched a three-month long Vigilance Awareness Campaign from 18th August to 17th November 2025. Under the guidance of *Divisional Railway Manager, Malda, Shri Manish Kumar Gupta* , the campaign is being conducted under the theme “Vigilance – Our Shared Responsibility” with a view to spreading awareness on transparency, accountability, and integrity among railway staff and the public.
A Nukkad Natak was organized at *Eastern Railway High School, Sahibganj* on 18.08.2025 (Monday), wherein students presented a street play highlighting the importance of honesty, vigilance, and active participation in eradicating corruption. The programme drew wide attention and motivated students to uphold integrity in society.
On the same day, a Staff Grievance Redressal Camp was held at *Bhagalpur Railway Station*, where employees were encouraged to put forth their grievances for immediate redressal. The initiative was aimed at ensuring transparency in administration and strengthening trust between railway officials and staff.
Malda Division is undertaking a series of activities during this campaign, including awareness programmes, pledge-taking, seminars, posters, banners, and outreach initiatives to sensitize both employees and the general public about the importance of vigilance in day-to-day life.
Malda Division remains committed to promoting integrity and transparency in its operations and to building a corruption-free environment through participative vigilance.
