SHRAVANI MELA 2025: TRAINS STOPPAGE ARRANGEMENTS AT SULTANGANJ STATION

In view of the anticipated heavy rush of pilgrims during the auspicious occasion of Shravani Mela 2025 *(from 11.07.2025 to 09.08.2025),* Eastern Railway’s Malda Division has made extensive operational arrangements at Sultanganj station to ensure smooth and convenient travel for devotees. These arrangements include the introduction of temporary stoppages and enhancement of halt durations for several Mail/Express trains, as part of a temporary operational plan to facilitate seamless pilgrim movement during the Mela period.
ADDITIONAL STOPPAGE OF TRAINS:
*Following Mail/Express trains will provided two (02) minutes Stoppage at Sultanganj Station on Nominated Days During Shravani Mela period:*
1) 12253 SMVT Bengaluru – Bhagalpur Anga Express will arrive Sultanganj at 08:04 hrs.
2) 12254 Bhagalpur – SMVT Bengaluru Anga Express will arrive Sultanganj at 14:08 hrs.
3) 13423 Bhagalpur – Ajmer weekly Express will arrive Sultanganj at 13:38 hrs.
4) 13424 Ajmer – Bhagalpur weekly Express will arrive Sultanganj at 13:50 hrs.
5)13429 Malda Town – Anand Vihar weekly Express will arrive Sultanganj at 13:02 hrs.
6) 13430 Anand Vihar – Malda Town weekly Express will arrive Sultanganj at 17:55 hrs.
7) 15619 Gaya – Kamakhya weekly Express will arrive Sultanganj at 17:45 hrs.
8) 15620 Kamakhya – Gaya weekly Express will arrive Sultanganj at 00:11 hrs.
*Moreover,* Mail/Express trains that already have *2 minute* stoppages at Sultanganj Station will halt for *5 minutes during the Mela period.* At Present there are stoppage of *29 pairs Mail/Express* trains, during Mela period *33 pairs mail/Express* trains will stop at Sultanganj station.
*Note:* Passenger trains already had 06 trains stoppage at Sultanganj Station remains unchanged during the Mela period.
