Malda Division’s Lady RPF Saves the Precious Life of a Passenger

Railway Protection Force (RPF), Malda Division, in its endeavour to provide all round assistance to the passengers, render all possible help for commuters as & when situations demand. They are always on toes to extend their healping hands to secure all round security.
In a recent display of valor, under *“Operation Jeevan Raksha”,* on 06.07.2025, a lady constable of RPF Post/Sahibganj saved the life of a female passenger who lost her balance while attempting to de-board the running Train No. 53030 (Bhagalpur–Azimganj Passenger) at Sahibganj Railway Station. With prompt action and presence of mind, the on-duty lady constable, risking her own safety, managed to safely assist the woman and prevent a potentially fatal accident — a truly commendable act.
Such brave actions by RPF staff highlight the extraordinary dedication of the force in ensuring the well-being of railway passengers.
Malda Division salutes the courage and sense of duty displayed by the lady RPF staff at Sahibganj station and remains committed to enhancing passenger safety at every step of the journey.
