Malda Division Extends Support to Physically Challenged Individuals/Divyangjan
In a significant move to support physically challenged individuals, the Malda Division distributed concession certificates at Bhagalpur station today. Under the guidance of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Shri S. Bhattacharya, this initiative aims to alleviate the challenges faced by differently-abled individuals in the regions of Bhagalpur, Jamalpur, Godda, and Banka.

One of the primary obstacles for these individuals has been the difficulty in traveling to Malda for availing of necessary services. Recognizing this issue, the Malda Division has proactively addressed their concerns by organizing a local distribution event.
The distribution ceremony was carried out by the presence of Area Officer/Bhagalpur Shri Sachin Kumar, along with Commercial inspectors, Sri Phool Kumar Sharma and other railway officials and staff. Their collective effort ensured the smooth execution of this initiative.
A total of 34 concession certificates were expected to be distributed among the eligible Divyangjan candidates, providing them with essential travel concessions and facilitating easier access to transportation.
