INAUGURATION OF NEWLY CONSTRUCTED THIRD FOOT OVER BRIDGE (FOB) AT JAMALPUR STATION*

Malda Division is always striving hard for ensuring comfortable journey of passengers. In another stride to improve facilities, upgradation of Station and provide better convenience to the passengers, Malda Division has successfully constructed a new Foot Over Bridge(FOB) at Jamalpur Railway station within the scheduled duration due to better planning & perfect coordination amongst various departments of the Malda Division at work site.
The newly constructed 3rd FOB was inaugurated today (08.11.2023) by a young bonafide passenger named Adarsh Kumar & a 40-year-old lady Smt Bandana Kumari in the presence of Service Improvement Group (S.I.G) of Jamalpur station.
The newly inaugurated 3rd FOB with ramp facility connects platforms 1,2 & 3 at jamalpur station and will be very helpful for the daily commuters especially during peak traffic hours. It will not only facilitate smooth dispersal of crowds during rush hour but also prevent commuters from trespassing the Railway tracks.
