08 Railway employees of Malda Division felicitated with Safety Award*

Today On 06.11.2023, Divisional Railway Manager/Malda Shri Vikas Chaube awarded Shri Raj Kumar Tanti/Loco Pilot, Shri Pankaj Kumar/Loco-pilot/Goods and Shri Gulshan Kumar/Assistant loco pilot from Sahibganj for their excellent performance.

Along with that DRM/MLDT also awarded Shri Ranjan Saha/Technician-III/Bhagalpur and Shri Vikas Kumar Singh/Technician-III/MLDT for their exemplary work, alertness and devotion on duty.

Three Pointsmen from New Farakka viz.,Shri Johni saha, Shri Uday Kumar Bala and Smt.Latika Mandal  were awarded for their major contributions on the various aspects of safety and their contribution in averting untoward incidents and ensuring safety in Train operations.

The award consists of a Medal, Commendation Certificate and a citation of exemplary safety work. 

DRM/MLDT said that Safety awards programme is being organized every fifteen days/fortnight by Malda Division to encourage and appreciate the outstanding performing railway staff related to safety and save lives and prevent major failures. 

Shri Sheo Kumar Prasad, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Shri Rakesh Ranjan, Senior Divisional Safety Officer, Shri Rajesh Kumar, Senior Divisional Operations Manager, Shri S.K.Tiwari Divisional Mechanical Engineer and other Branch Officers of Malda Division were present on the occasion.
