*07 Railway employees of Malda Division felicitated with Safety Award*

Safety awards programme is being organized every fifteen days/fortnight by Malda Division to encourage and appreciate the outstanding performing railway staff related to safety and save lives and prevent major failures.

On 03.10.2023, Shri Vikas Chaube, Divisional Railway Manager/Malda awarded Shri Randhir Prasad/Senior Section Engineer/Works and Shri Sanjoy Mudi/RPF Inspector (IPF)for their excellent performance at Dhulianganga and New farakka stations.

Along with that DRM/MLDT also awarded Smt. Mousumi Das, Ranjith KP for their exemplary work in Medical Department.

Sri Pintu Roy/Pointsman, Sri Dhurba Rajak/Pointsman and Sri Amit Kumar/Gateman were awarded for their major contributions on the various aspects of safety and their contribution in averting untoward incidents and ensuring safety in Train operations.

 The award consists of a Medal, Commendation Certificate and a citation of exemplary safety work. Shri Randhir Prasad/SSE/W/Dhulianganga and Shri Sanjoy Mudi/IPF/New Farakka were awarded with 20000/- cash award sanctioned by GM/ER.

DRM/MLDT said that the main objective of this award ceremony is to keep the staff motivated as a token of appreciation for the good works done by the employees.

The awardees have done a commendable job and such alertness shown by the railway staff for safer working will motivate others.

Shri Sheo Kumar Prasad, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Shri Rakesh Ranjan, Senior Divisional Safety Officer, Shri Neeraj Kumar Verma, Senior Divisional Engineer/Coordination, Shri A.K.Kullu Divisionsal Security Commissioner, Dr.S.Bose, Additional Chief Medical Superintendent and other Branch Officers of Malda Division were present on the occasion.
